Dunedin Ice Skating Club caters for short track speed skating which is practiced on our main ice arena.

Speed Skating on the ice is an exhilarating and challenging sport, it is as exciting to watch as it is to participate in. To be successful at speed skating you need to be fit, strong, agile and tactically aware.

We have a small amount of speed skating members in Dunedin so we are happy to encourage anyone new who wants to give it a go within our Friday and Sunday sessions. Please see the Afternoon Schedule for days and times. At this stage we have one coach Brett McCormack who helps within these sessions. Anyone who is a fully paid up club member is able to join this session and can train freely or if you would like some assistance you can contact Brett.
